Our mission at Novum Academy is to nurture confident, lifelong learners through a high-quality Montessori education that encourages exploration, independence, and responsibility to others, while honoring our role within the broader community.
Novum Academy envisions a thriving community of lifelong learners who explore deeply, think critically, and contribute positively to society.
At Novum Academy, our values are rooted in ethical leadership, educational excellence, and a modern application of the Montessori Methods. We are committed to the highest ethical standards upholding honesty, transparency, and accountability in all that we do—with children, families, and our community.
We believe every child deserves an education that honors their individuality while preparing them to thrive in a changing world. Our classrooms reflect a Modern Montessori approach, blending authentic Montessori principles—child-led learning, prepared environments, and respect for developmental stages—with thoughtful, research-informed practices that support today’s learners.
Montessori principles shape everything we do at Novum Academy, while ethics and a commitment to quality guide our leadership, teaching, and the nurturing environment we provide to every young learner.
Novum Academy is an emerging educational community founded on the belief that exceptional education is built through care, trust, and high standards. As we prepare to launch, our vision is to deliver high-quality learning aligned with both Montessori Methods and TEKS educational standards, while striving to exceed all state licensing requirements.
Co-founded by two mothers passionate about education and public service, Novum Academy is shaped by a deep understanding of what children, families, and educators need to thrive. At Novum Academy we are committed to creating a nurturing, values-driven environment where students are challenged and supported, parents feel confident leaving their children in our care, and educators are treated with respect, admiration, and professional support.
Built on a foundation of strong values and shared responsibility, Novum Academy seeks to empower its students, support its families and staff, and contribute meaningfully to Amarillo and the broader global community.

At Novum Academy, we believe children learn best through hands-on exploration and self-directed activities.
Guided by a deep respect for each child, we provide an environment where they develop independence, creativity, and a love of learning.
Our curriculum follows the Montessori Method, a child-centered approach that fosters practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language, math, cultural studies, and creative expression. Each area encourages hands-on learning, problem-solving, and independent thinking, allowing children to follow their curiosity at their own pace.
Our teaching guides are deeply committed to fostering a supportive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for every child. At Novum Academy, we maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to provide personalized attention and a focus on student-led learning opportunities.
We believe that education is a partnership between the school, the parents, and the community. We encourage parents to be involved in their child's education, and offer opportunities for community service and community engagement events.
